Long Lake Sailing venue has moved to Louden Park
The dock at the Long Lake Inn has been closed, so we have moved to the fishing dock at Louden Park.
We sail IOMs all year round on Fridays from 9:30AM to 2PM unless the weather forecast is for heavy rain or snow or there is ice on the lake.
We may sail on a Thursday or Saturday if the weather forecast is more favourable than on Friday.
The Nanaimo Canoe and Kayak Club has graciously allowed us to store our dinghy and marks in their caged lockup.
There has been an ongoing development plan for improvements at Louden Park for the last 20+ years.
Plans for a new Community activity center & boat house have been approved and are awaiting funding to move forward with construction.
We are hoping to continue using this site and support the improvement plan.
